CAIRNS..(Queensland)

While searching for cairns .The picture drawn in my mind was an  unhappening city.

BUT i was WRONG . CAIRNS is very close to nature that  impressed me a lot.

It was a three-hour flight from Sydney .Changed time zone .we took an airport shuttle

that cost around 10 AUD per person which was cheap as compare to other cities.

We took hotel at esplanade.Hotel was very close to reef terminal ,so it was very feasible

to catch ferry in morning ,it also saved our 5AUD per person as it was pick up charge

collected by agency for pick up.

So upon arrival we booked our next day excursion with great adventures,many agencies

operate excursions but only few were available at the time we reserved.

then we spent our time in exploring esplanades beauty.

Sea view with many food joints and local shops. there is a pool which any one can use it.

finally after a market round, had dinner at an Indian restaurant.

SECOND DAY

we took ferry  for the green island and outer reef tour around 1 hour journey from jetty.

Glass bottom boat and snorkelling equipments were included in the price we paid.

So upon arrival green island we saw that island is divided in two parts for snorkelling

and there is a cafe bar and hotel for those who wish to stay over night at island.

Started with glass bottom boat we saw beautiful under sea life ,corals as well multi

colour fishes. some thing different for the first time.

After a 30  mints of glass bottom boat we went for outer reef  followed by snorkelling .

Corals were very pointed so snorkelling was not that easy  but still we managed and

saw beautiful sea life there, all in all it was a worth day we spent there.

we reached back to jetty around 6.15 PM in evening. After fresh and change we went

for dinner and on the way back my wife saw UGG boots which she liked it and was

available at low price so we took it.

Things were cheap as compare to sydney.

kuranda scenic rail was also among the excursions but we didn’t planned.

NEXT day we had early morning flight for GOLD COAST.
